Mid-flight assault risks shock airline passengers worldwide after a Thai mother experienced a horrifying attack while sleeping next to her child. Beaut Pimpaporn was flying home from Milan through Dubai to Bangkok when the traumatic event unfolded.
The thirty-three-year-old traveler took sleeping pills to rest during the six-hour journey on flight FZ-1583. Her four-year-old daughter napped peacefully on her lap throughout the flight. However, Pimpaporn suddenly woke up to discover a male passenger illegally touching her backside and performing an explicit act.
She noticed damp semen on her upper right thigh immediately after waking up. The suspect quickly withdrew his hand, pulled his jacket over his lap, and pretended to fix his entertainment screen. Moreover, he repeatedly glanced at her to gauge her reaction.
Pimpaporn remained calm to protect her young child and avoid causing widespread panic in the cabin. Therefore, she waited until the plane touched down in Bangkok before alerting the flight crew about the crime. Cabin attendants quickly separated the young girl from the scene so the child would not witness the aftermath.
The flight crew confronted the male passenger directly regarding the accusation. At first, the suspect denied every claim against him. Eventually, he broke down, knelt on the floor, and begged the victim for forgiveness.
Several members of his tour group stepped in and pleaded with Pimpaporn to drop the issue. Nevertheless, the brave flight attendant shut down their intervention and declared the situation a strict police matter. Officers from Thai immigration and the tourist police soon boarded the aircraft and removed the suspect.
Authorities transferred the man to the Don Mueang police station for further investigation. Police Lieutenant Colonel Chamnanyut Konkong stated that officials denied the suspect entry into Thailand. Furthermore, officers plan to set up mediation between both parties as standard procedure before filing formal charges.
A spokesperson for flydubai stated that passenger safety remains their highest priority. However, the airline declined to release specific details about the ongoing investigation.
